New!
Finally, I have come up with a new skin themed "Vodka". Well, I was browsing around looking for an appropriate skin to be put up because my previous one is a ready-made skin by Blogspot and I actually came across few blogs which have the same skin as mine. So the thought of being different made me change everything. It took me quite a while to edit the html and it was mind-torturing to study it (i am no html guy).

I like this skin although it lacks of few things. It is not comment-enabled. I found no ways to enable it. I hope someone can enlighten me on this. The blog counter is not working properly most of the time. It does not show. I was unable to find out why. Only these two things, so far.

Do leave your comment about the new skin of my blog at my tagboard since there is no comment link for now and please help me with the matters above. I will appreciate. Thanks!

No more pink...

ABCDE!
Hmm.. Yesterday was quite a day for me. Lee Teng invited me to have a meal with her after her school ends. I was not quite sure about my availability but anyway, I promised her the day before. Luckily I managed to make it. She brought along her two nice friends, Mei Yi and Sin Dee. If both of you are reading this... nice meeting you people. Halfway through the chit-chat session, my dad called, asking me to send Lita to Klang for final 'touch'. So I left a while after.

The 'toucher' told me that Lita would be ready in two hours time and he would call me once it is ready. So I gave him my phone number and I went back. Two hours passed but I was still waiting. Eventually, I called up my dad and he calls up the 'toucher'. What the heck?! The 'toucher' says that he has called me twice but nobody picked up. The 'toucher' was a little pissed off telling that he needs to close his shop as the clock was already showing 6.30pm. My phone was not engaged!

So I immediately rushed there, picked Lita up and went to work at 7.00pm. The traffic was damn congested in Klang. I was driving without mercy. It was like 'You are left behind, your problem. This is my road.' situation. I reached my work place 10 minutes before time. Phew!

Averdim invited me for mamak at 10.00pm because I merajuk, I admit. I fetched Xian and we headed to Modern. Averdim and Chris were the early birds. Later on, Tyrone came with Jay and Kelvin. We were the loud ones there. Laughing! Xian with her fork and me being Averdim's shield. Well, we talk about everything there. You guys rock!

I managed to reach home before 12 after sending Xian back. My parents were waiting for me for another session of makan-makan with my dad's friend. Again, we went out. I was back home at 2.00am. I thought I would sleep till afternoon...

Well, another day has come. Time flies!

Have a good day!

National Service
Something tickled my mind the other day when my boss was talking to me about National Service. Yes, National Service. The programme which the Government use to lock you up and turn you into a patriotic person. Canggih huh? Think of it again.

What tickled my mind was a lot of people have been telling me that National Service is an added 'thingy' for SPM-ers who apply for scholarship. I even heard that from teachers. It is totally unfair to take National Service into account as the trainees are chosen or 'selected'. So what about those who wanted to go but did not get chosen? Does that mean that are not prioritise?

Unfairness! Bagaimana hendak memupuk semangat muhibbah?

Crash!
Hey,

Sorry for being dead for a while. My computer crashed the other day. So I actually lost all my stuff including those (pictures and contents) which I wanted to post here, unfortunately.

The headline of The Star newspaper caught my attention today! CHECK ALL BIRDS! Guys, better be careful or else, the authority will chop it off once bird flu is detected there.

Bird flu causes:
  • the decrease of price of chicken ;
  • the decrease of price of 'chicken' and
  • the decrease of price of gigolo because gigolo has bird.

Tourism
It has always been Malaysia's dream to 'boost up' its tourism sector. Various steps have been taken to ensure that Malaysia is not left behind in this issue. Islands are being upgraded, beaches are being beautified, tourist spots are now user-friendly and disabled-friendly as well.

'Cuti-cuti Malaysia' is encouraging the local people to spend their holidays here. Of course it is cheaper and more economic compare to spending holidays in other countries. One good example is our neighbouring country, Singapore. RM2000 is equivalent to around $800!

I doubt Malaysia can achieve its dream without the 'rakyat' playing a role.

My recent trip to Pulau Ketam nearly 'choked' me when I was having my lunch in one of the seafood restaurant there. Before the food was being ordered, I asked for the price of a kilogram of crab. The answer given was RM30 which is quite okay in my opinion. Well I ordered.

While eating, a group of 10 foreigners entered the same restaurant. The 'choking' part was when they asked for the price of the crab. The waiter happily responded, "RM60 per kilogram, Sir."

I was stunt by the price! How can they do that when their standard price is just RM30? Just imagine the tourists go back to their home-country and voice out their dissatisfaction of the price of the food in Malaysia. Would their family and friends want to spend their holidays here? They would definitely think twice!

From what I see, the Government should make it a must for all restaurant owners to list their prices of food in their premises and take stern action against those who ignore.
